St Brigid's - GoolwaA 100-year-old double storey converted Baltic pine church, providing rustic beachside accommodation on South Austalia's stunning Fleurieu Peninsula. St Brigid’s is ideally suited to couples and situated on a peaceful and idyllic sand hill on the outskirts of Goolwa Beach. The property adjoins a nature reserve and is close to shops, a golf course and the Murray River. The only bedroom (queen bed) is situated upstairs on a mezzanine floor with double glass doors opening out to a balcony boasting ocean views. Guests need to be aware that the staircase is very steep and not suited to anyone with mobility and/or health issues. The downstairs living area is warmed by a baker's oven while the kitchen features a dishwasher and microwave. Please note there is no conventional oven. The bathroom has a two-person spa bath and separate shower. Outside, there is a sheltered deck area with dining facilities. All bedding and linen is provided. Guests are required to bring their own food and personal items. There are no resident staff and the closest medical facilities, including a 24/7 emergency department, are situated at Victor Harbor (approx. 20kms). St Brigid's is strictly smoke free and pet free. It is a private property made available to Otis guests through the generosity of its owners. Bookings for the 2010 season at St Brigid's are now open. St Brigid's is available from April 20, 2010 until October 31, 2010 for MONDAY TO FRIDAY BOOKINGS. We are unable to accommodate weekend bookings at St Brigid's and very limited places are available during school holidays. Location
