Shack '14' - Chewton

Shack 14 is a remote single storey bushland retreat nestled in the Chewton Hills on the outskirts of Castlemaine in the Central Victorian goldfields.

Guests need to be aware that vehicle access to the property is via a bush track, parking is a short distance from the dwelling and access to the Shack itself requires good mobility as there is a small flight of stairs with no hand rail.

Shack 14 features:-

  • Two bedrooms
  • One bathroom (shower over the bath)
  • A modern, well-equipped kitchen
  • Television with DVD player (no channel access) 
  • All Linen provided
  • No landline phone (mobile service is available nearby)

A maximum of three adults are permitted to stay and Shack 14 is not considered suitable for children.

The property is strictly smoke free and pet free, and available to Otis guests for Monday to Friday bookings at most times throughout the year.

Shack 14 is privately owned and made available to Otis guests through the generosity of its owners.
