2022 Otis Golf Day

Friday, April 29, 2022

A great day out on the green in Bendigo

The 2022 Otis Foundation Golf Day was held on Sunday 27 March at Bendigo Golf Club.

22 teams of four players played 18 holes, Ambrose format with a shotgun start.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity and support, The Otis Foundation raised $10,500 net which will assist us in providing 140 nights of retreat accommodation for individuals and families experiencing breast cancer.

Players were treated to brunch including bacon and egg burgers and barista coffee before heading out to the beautiful course to tee off. Beverages were driven round to the players in order to stay hydrated and there were two on course BBQs serving everything from sausages to chicken schnitzel sandwiches.

Once back at the Clubhouse the team from The Bendigo Club served canapés as the drinks flowed. Winning teams were announced, the raffle was drawn and the lucky winners took home their prizes.

Everyone had a fantastic time and teams have already promised to return again next year.

Congratulations to our winners:

1st place: TERRACO, 52.25

2nd place: DP Rogers Painting, 52.88

3rd place: Little Blue Towels, 53.63

4th place: Southern Mallee Hybrids, 53.75

Nearest to the Pin winners: Geoff Holland, Jan Hays, Mark Kesper & Mark Zentgraf
