Since it’s beginning, the Murray Charity Meander has supported The OTIS Foundation to provide retreat accommodation at no cost to those dealing with the challenges of breast cancer. Starting with just two villas on the outskirts of Bendigo 15 years ago, we now proudly offer access to 37 across Australia, providing stays at no cost to close to 1,000 families each year. The Murray Meander has contributed significantly to this expansion, donating close to $900,000.
The Murray Charity Meander has been held annually for the past 13 years. 2018 marks the Last Leg as the event travelled from Corryong to Echuca over eight days. The OTIS Team captured these great memories.
Our staff and Board are again pleased and incredibly proud to be involved in the Murray Meander and, while it will be the last year of the Meander, we are honoured that the Horizon Committee will continue its funding of OTIS through the Little Blue Towel initiative. Our relationship with the Horizon Committee remains strong and we are so appreciative of this on-going support.
